Season three has been mused upon, hashed over, meandered around, and delayed. In addition to various life events (such as the birth of a bébé and a pesky pandemic), something about the season we had planned just wasn’t sitting right. So we’ve given it a complete overhaul!
Many apologies if you were devotedly reading the books from the prior posted reading list. We promise, those books will be covered! Maybe not in this season, though. To make up for it, you can look forward to even MORE bookish delight, perhaps discovering some new faves, and, as always, a heap of absurdity.
Without further ado, our new and improved theme for Season 3 is…BOLTERS!
On this theme, we will be travelling hither and yon with a lot of strong-willed ladies who bolted—and by that we mean that they walked out the door and into their self-determined destinies. They may not have always had the best motivations, and they may not have always had the best outcomes. But gosh darn it, their stories are interesting!
This season will kick off with the original bolter and the book that she hails from—The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford. From there—well, you’ll just have to read, listen, and find out!
